mY SON'S TEACHER SAID THAT HE IS NOT INTERESTED IN READING

i SHOWED THEM THAT HE LOVES TO read

Hi, I’m Shob, founder of ButtonNoseWorkshop. My journey to creating the E-Phonics Reading Magic Book began when my second child was labeled as “not interested” in reading in kindergarten. As a parent, this was frustrating because at home, he loved when I read to him. So, I asked him:

Why didn’t he enjoy reading at school?

He told me that reading felt overwhelming—there were just too many letters to remember, especially when his classmates were reading chapter books.

That’s when I realized,

The real disconnect:

He hadn’t linked learning the alphabet to the stories and activities he loved. My son is a hands-on learner—he thrives on drawing and creating. So, I started introducing letters and words into the things he enjoyed, like birthday invitations, notes for playdates, and his storybooks.

How did I help him remember the letters?

I used familiar objects, like calling a lowercase “a” a “ball with a tail,” and this method worked wonders. Within weeks, he went from struggling with letters to reading books on his own.

What began as a personal solution turned into something much bigger. His teachers noticed the improvement, and soon friends and family were asking to try my method.

But that wasn't enough to help parents?

I realized that not all parents have the time to consistently help their child with reading, especially if they’re balancing work and home life. That’s why I created the E-Phonics Reading Magic Book. It’s designed to take the pressure off parents, allowing children to learn independently through fun, engaging phonics lessons.

With over 4,000 parents already benefiting from my method, I’m thrilled to offer this hands-on learning experience that supports both kids and parents.

When will the Book be available for purchase?

Aiming for a January 2025 release. While there are many variables, this is the goal we are working towards!

I can't wait, I like the idea and I want to support. You can pre-order here. We will deliver when the book is available.

I am Not Sure, but Keep me updated

We don’t want you to miss anything in our brand-building journey, including your chance to provide feedback and maybe even test our book!

what parents are Saying about Us?

-I wish I had found these 2 years ago! Homeschooling 3 kids under the age of 9 leads to LOTS of flashcards and paperwork everywhere. This set covers them all!

-The box these came in will actually withstand the whirlwind usage my kids put on our school supplies. They even split them up into 5 different sets that are contained with a nice binder ring.

-We use phonics to help our kids read and these are the sets that align with that concept, they underline the special sound in each word to help draw your child's attention.

-The font style on these is great for young kids learning, straight to the point, nothing confusing.

-Don't let the price fool you, these are worth every penny and will help you from buying useless workbooks that take up far more space!

-I look forward to future products from this company!

These are great for those learning their snap words. As a first time homeschooling mom I need as much help as I can get so I can help my little ones. This has been one of the best additions to the resources I already have at hand.

What I really really like about these cards, is that they emphasize the sounds, the wh-, the fl-, etc. They are clean and sturdy and come in groups. There are rings to attach to each card packet (4 card packets), and you can flip them as you go. One of the hardest things I've come across when teaching my son to read is his sounds, but emphasizing it with the underline and showing him in different contexts has been helpful. He's pretty disdainful of any word cards, but we've still had success showing him the emphasized parts of the words. It's a really nicely packaged product and thoughtful in its process.
